Silicone potting compounds are available in 100% solid one and two component materials with “user-friendly” mix properties. Silicone potting compounds are high in purity, low in toxicity, with outstanding weather resistance. The silicone materials function from -100F to 600F and provide the best thermal cycle capabilities available. Silicones have several qualities which are desirable for encapsulating circuits including minimal shrinkage, deep section cure, repairability, excellent dielectric properties and the ability to cure to a flexible, stress relieving elastomer.

Silicones are usually easy to mix two-component systems, consisting of the resin as well as a catalyst such as a hardener or accelerator.
